The Sheer Bastion is situated in Senglea, which is one of the three historical cities in the south part of Malta. It is among Malta’s most glamorous and romantic wedding venues with unique views of the Grand Harbour and Birgu City, which give way to stunning sunsets and illuminated views of the city. There are both indoor and outdoor options too.

The details of our wedding day were planned over a period of months leading up to the wedding and we had regular contact with Petra and Mauro through email and Skype. Our wedding at the Salt Pans in Gozo was like nothing we could have imagined. It really was the dream wedding for us. We were all blown away at how I Do Knot transformed the raw setting of the Salt Pans into a beautiful wedding venue. Every supplier that they used from chairs, flowers, caterers, musicians and lighting were very high quality and great value. On the wedding day, Petra and Mauro, along with wonderful Matthew, ensured it ran smoothly and took care of everything behind the scenes. We are absolutely thrilled to have had Petra and Mauro create our special day. They are both lovely people who could not have done any more for us during our time in Gozo. They also coordinated all the accommodation and transport for our guests as well as day trips and meals which took all the pressure off us. "Malta is a beautiful island steeped in history and memories for people from all walks of life and cultures. Helping to create those memories is a dedicated team from I DO KNOT - they are the most wonderful people you would wish to meet. They responded exactly to our requirements for our perfect wedding day - a small intimate ceremony (only the two of us). They listened to everything we wanted and implemented those wishes and made it a day to remember. We got all that we asked for and then we got some more. The warmth and happiness directed towards us for our special day actually started from the first email and when we met the I DO KNOT team and the Registrar on the day we landed in Malta they made us so at ease and welcomed - we felt as though we had known them for a lot longer. The extended team selected by I DO KNOT - make-up artist, hairdresser, photographer and chauffeur were all very professional, friendly and helpful. The florist also provided a bouquet with all the flowers requested in the style desired. The support from I DO KNOT continued throughout our stay on Malta and their interest in our family\'s response to the "surprise wedding" continued following our return to the UK (we had kept the wedding secret - the response from our family was overwhelming joy). "Petra and her team are amazing the day went flawlessly. Charlene was lovely and so helpful when we were all getting ready, it is really handy having an extra pair of hands about when everyone is getting dresses on!. She made sure the brides had everything they needed and sorted out an issue with the hotel with a smile. Everyone knew where they needed to be and when. I think it really helped that Petra knew all the other suppliers and was able to easily keep in touch with them and manage everything. If there were any problems it was never made evident to the guests or the brides.The team were always about in the background if we ever needed them but never intruding which must have been hard when there was less than 20 of us. Overall I dont think it would have been possible to pull off the day without them. I would Highly recommend."

"So out of the blue we decided to get married and wanted to organize it in like 6 months max... being detailed obsessed I thought of doing it alone but time was pressing and we needed someone to help us out. I contacted I DO KNOT and albeit they specialized in foreign weddings they agreed to take us on (we are locals but did not want a traditional Maltese wedding). It was the start of a lovely journey that lead us to our perfect day. We knew what we wanted and of course, we also had a budget, all the team co-operated with us to tailor-make our day to what we wanted. We went back & forth with questions or changes that we made and nothing was ever too much - they accommodated us as best as they could. For the big day, we had a full team as required for the size of our wedding. Their recommendations worked well for the magic we were expecting and without breaking the budget we had our fairytale wedding come to life! Amidst all of this, we gained a friendship too and enjoyed a few good laughs whilst putting ideas to reality.
