An Intimate Ceremony in Paradise!

A few months ago we received a request to organise this intimate celebration through a prominent Wedding Planning Agency in Zagreb.

The lovely pair are both from Croatia upon presenting them with an array of settings for their intimate ceremony, they preferred for a beach wedding.

Neither Kristina, nor Goran, have ever visited Malta before.  Their affair was very small with only themselves and our colleagues Matthew and Charlene acting as their witnesses. After taking them to the registry office to finalise their legal paperwork the couple had a couple of days to explore the island and to soak up the warm sunny rays.

On the day of their wedding, the ceremony was scheduled to start at 6.30pm. In the afternoon, the I DO KNOT team set off, with Matthew arranging the set up at the beach and Charlene based at the hotel with the couple to coordinate the other vendors and make sure to stick to the stipulated timings.

The bride had a makeover with our fabulous beauty team, enjoying being pampered and made to look even more beautiful. Her hair was curled and styled with a loose half up half down and swept to the side of her face. During this time the groom kept himself busy as he wasn’t allowed to see his bride to be until they left the hotel together.

Kristina wore a long fitting white lace dress which was cut out at the back, complimenting her figure whilst Goran wore a white cotton kaftan shirt with matching white trousers, both looked amazing and their style was very fitting for their destination beach wedding.

For flowers, Kristina held a round hand-tied bouquet of baby breath with pink and white roses and pearl pins delicately placed in and around it. Goran had a matching boutonniere with a single pink rose with baby breath alongside it, held neatly in place with a pearl pin.

The photographer arrived to take some preparation shots before the couple departed, capturing their special moments perfectly. At 6pm the vintage limousine picked them up and escorted the couple to the ceremony stopping at the picturesque Red Tower en-route to the ceremony venue for some snapshots.

Arriving at Palm Beach, the couple were both overjoyed with how beautiful it was and how the set up was arranged. They both walked down the aisle and through the flower arch together to be greeted by the Registrar. The ceremony was very sweet with a love poem being read before they sealed their vows with a kiss.

It was a very endearing and low-key affair that was celebrated with a bottle of Prosseco and the cutting of the wedding cake. As the wedding was a very intimate and private affair, the newlyweds shared the bottle with the I DO KNOT team and everyone enjoyed the tasty wedding cake.

The new Mr & Mrs then proceeded to the beach for a post ceremony photoshoot.  For some props we prepared a Bali beach bed dressed in white sheer drapes and some white lanterns which matched the panoramic backdrop beautifully.  With the sun setting slowly, it made a picture perfect scene.

The newlyweds then proceeded to a nearby fine-dining restaurant to enjoy their first meal as Mr. & Mrs. with spectacular sea views and a delicious meal.  An exceptional evening for a very memorable day.

From all the team at I DO KNOT, we hope you both have a prosperous and loving future together! It was a real pleasure to be a part of your special day!!
