The list of places to choose from to indulge your inner princess (or prince) is endless. Leading the way in high style pampering, the Maltese certainly know how to relax to the max.

All pampering comes at a price of course and depending on your budget, generous or stretched, will then influence your given course of treatments. Thankfully there are places here in Malta that cater for all budgets and will leave you feeling divine.

High-End Range:

Considering the size of the Islands, the 5* and 4* Spa Hotels are of high volume, delighting the luxurious spa goers needs. Whether you want Spa treatments, massages or more leisurely indulgences such as – Jacuzzi’s, saunas or hydro-pool’s, there is something for everyone. The Dolmen Resort Hotel, the Hilton Hotel or Le Meridien Hotel and Spa are three properties that have an immense selection of treatments, all using the Myo Ka Spa treatments. The Dolmen Resort Hotel boasts over 60 treatments to offer, you could spend all week there, now there’s a thought ;). Another diamond is The Grand Hotel Excelsior offers 5* treatments plus 5* views of the Island. This stunning hotel offers a vast range of beauty treatments with their own signature ‘Le Grand Spa Maharlika Treatments’ to infuse pure indulgence to your inner goddess (god).

Mid-Range:

Want to indulge without the massive price-tag, look no further as there are ample moderate priced resorts that offer premium and superior treatments. Many large spa resorts and boutiques offer affordable treatments with a few promoting special offers to tempt you in. The Corinthian Palace Hotel & Spa (located in Balzan on the doorstep of the Presidential Palace & Gardens) have ‘Spa Happy Hour Packages’ attracting visitors with their luxury range and relaxing ambiance. They also boast a romantic couples package called ‘hugs and kisses’ where you can both unwind and indulge together, perfect for romantic newlyweds to be.  Plus the location is already very serene and a walk in the nearby San Anton Gardens would be a great ending to a relaxing session.

Budget Range:

If you like the idea of being pampered and pruned but not wanting the hefty cost, the choice is fabulous here in Malta. The Fortina Spa Hotel, for example, offers an array of affordable treatments starting from €20. Amazing!! Also many of the Spa Hotels offer a budget range using smaller treatment times or with some of the added extras taken out. It’s still worth checking out as with The Fortina Spa Hotel you can book just the Spa Sante facilties (for just under €20 per person), allowing you to use the sauna, Jacuzzi, indoor pool, Aqua meditation, pedi jets, grotto area plus more for all day at a fabulous price.  Special offers also include a 3-course meal in the hotel, so you can really make a full day of it!

If none of this sounds like your cup of tea and you would rather put a face-mask on in the comfort of your own hotel room, make sure to pack your own mask or even create the mix yourself using local ingredients.  This will be a great opportunity to get the girls together and put together a fun afternoon with hardly any expense!
